Khadiza shifted to CRP at Savar

The seriously injured college student Khadiza Akter of Sylhet, who was recovered significantly, shifted to Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP) Hospital at Savar, on the outskirts of the capital city this morning. 

She was taken to the CRP Hospital from Square Hospital in the capital city by an ambulance of Savar Upazila Health Complex around 11:20am, said CRP medical wing chief neurosurgeon Dr Sayeed Uddin Helal.

"Left hand and leg of Khadija are paralyzed and we will work for her early recovery," he also said.

Critical Care Department Associate Director Dr. Mirza Nazim Uddin under whose supervision Khadiaja took treatment at Square Hospital, "They sent Khadija to the CRP this morning as the medical board advised to give her rehab physiotherapy for her complete recovery. 

Khadiza was chopped by Sylhet Shahjalal Science and Technology University student Badrul on her way back after an examination at Sylhet MC College on October 3 last.

She was first admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. The following day, she was shifted to Square Hospital in Dhaka and kept on life support.

She underwent critical surgical operations one after another in Square Hospital.
