26 get death in seven-murder trial

A Narayanganj court today sentenced 26 persons including main accused Nur Hossain to death in sensational seven-murder trial.

"Narayanganj District and Sessions Judge Syed Enayet Hossain pronounced the judgement at around 10.10 am in a crowded courtroom," a court official said.

Earlier in the morning police produced 23 accused before the court. 

A total of 35 people, including prime accused Nur Hossain and three sacked RAB officials, were indicted on February 8, 2016, in the killing case. Of the accused, 12 people remained absconding till today.
