Modi announces $5 billion for Bangladesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a $5 billion line of credit to Bangladesh during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's New Delhi visit.
Modi made the announcement during the joint media briefing at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi after talks with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Modi announced a new line of concessional credit of $4.5 billion for the implementation of projects in Bangladesh.
Another additional line of credit of $500 million for military supplies, Modi said it will be driven by the requirement of Bangladesh.
