Monitoring platform will be started to protect SIM information

Government is going to start Central Biometric Verification Monitoring Platform to protect customers’ biometric  SIM information, said State Minister for Post and Telecommunication Tarana Halim.

She made this remark at secretariate in the capital on Wednesday.

The new system can creat some problem, she said.

The selling activities of SIM from Thursday night to Friday noon can be interrupted due to new system. Later it will be under control, she said.
