Schoolgirl found hanging in Netrakona

A schoolgirl, who went missing since Tuesday, was found hanging from a tree at Satpai in the municipality area on Wednesday.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body of Mursalina Deepti, a class-X student and daughter of Nayan Mia of Katli area in the district town in the morning.

Later, the body was sent to Netrakona Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Fakruzzaman Jewel, superintendent of Netrakona Police.

It could not be immediately known whether the victim committed suicide or killed, he added.
