Elderly woman killed in Meherpur house collapse

An elderly man was killed as a tin-shed house collapsed on her during storm at Terghoria village in Sadar upazila on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Panchiran, 75, wife of late Fakir Mohammad.
Local sources said that a portion of the tin-shed house collapsed on Panchiran during the storm around 11am, leaving her dead on the spot.
