Parveen Mahmud joins TIB trustee board

Chairman of Midas Board of Directors Parveen Mahmud FCA has joined the board of trustees of the Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) on Thursday as its new member. 

Parveen was elected as the trustee board member during the 95th meeting of the board on March 20 and joined the 96th meeting officially, said a press statement.

She is also working as the Managing Director of Grameen Telecom Trust, Board Member of BRAC International and BRAC Finance and Audit Committee, Chair Person of Shasha Denims Ltd.

Parveen was the Deputy Managing Director of Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF). She is a chartered accountant by profession and is the past president – first woman president in the year 2011, of the Institute of Chartered accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).  She is also the first female board member of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).

The other members of the TIB trustee board are Chairperson Advocate Sultana Kamal, Secretary General Selina Hossain, Treasurer Md Mahfuz Anam, Md Tawfique Nawaz, Sayyada Ruhi Ghuznavi, M Hafizuddin Khan, Dr A.T.M Shamsul Huda, Dr Syed Manzoorul Islam, Dr Akbar Ali Khan and Ali Imam Majumder.
