BdREN inks MoU with BSCCL

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between BdREN (Bangladesh Research and Education Network) and BSCCL (Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Ltd.) at UGC Bhaban today on the use of internet bandwidth. 

UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan was present on the occasion as the chief guest. AKM Habibur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, BdREN and Engineer M Monwar Hossain, Managing Director, BSCCL signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. 

Under MoU, BdREN will be able to procure internet bandwidth at an affordable price from BSCCL and distribute to the universities. 

UGC Member Prof M Akhtar Hossain, Board of Directors from BSCCL and officials from both the organizations were present on the occasion.
