5 special Eid-ul-Adha Dishe for guest

Eid-ul-Adha is all about trying new dishes and enjoying mouthwatering food. 

The dishes that we usually think to make are easily and happily made on this auspicious event. Once the sacrifice is done, every household gets busy in making their favourite meat dishes.

Few of the scrumptious dishes that you can try for your guests at home includes:

Recipe no 1:
Hunter Beef: (Ingredients)

Black Pepper(Crushed)       3 table spoon
Cinnamon                              To taste
Brown Sugar                          2 table spoon
Cardamoms                           4 pieces
Saltpeter                                2 table spoon
Lemon Juice                           1/4th cup
Beef                                         2kg piece

Recipe:

Take all the ingredients like Black pepper, cinnamon, brown sugar, cardamoms, saltpeter and grind them together. Take lemon juice and mix all the dry ingredients in it. Now take the piece of the beef you have chosen and put cuts in it with the help of a fork. Put the mixture of lemon juice and other ingredients on top of it and after every hour apply cuts on the beef so it absorbs all the ingredients inside it properly. Keep it for a day. Once done cook it on low flame until there is no water and the meat is properly cooked. This is the time when your hunter beef is ready now you can take a piece and fry every time you want to serve it to your guests.

Recipe no 2:

Haleem: (Ingredients)

Beef                                        1 kg
Onions                                    1/4 kg
Tomatoes                               3
Ginger Garlic paste              2 table spoon
Salt                                          To taste
Red chili powder                   6 teaspoon
Yogurt                                     2 table spoon
Turmeric powder                  ½ teaspoon
Coriander Powder                 4 teaspoon
All spices (Powder)                1 table spoon
oil                                              ½ cup
Wheat                                       ¼ kg
Barley                                        ¼ kg
Green Gram                             ¼ kg
Gram lentils                             ¼ kg

Recipe:

Start by heating oil in a pan, when you think the oil is thoroughly heated, add spice powder and onions and fry them until golden brown. Once done add salt, ginger, garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, tomatoes, yogurt and meat. Leave it on flame to cook. Add 6 glasses of water so these things get tender while they stay in water. Roast the tender meat and grind it once cold.

Take all the pulses and grind them including wheat and barley. Add all the pulses and meat together in a pot and put it on low flame and keep on moving the spoon in it until it gets thicker. Once thicker and you see it has taken the shape your Haleem is ready to be served.

Serve it with lemon juice, ginger, fried onions and green chilies.


Recipe no: 3

Achar Gosht: (Ingredients)


Mutton                                1 kg
Yogurt                                  ½ kg
Tomato puree                    1 cup
Ginger garlic paste            1 table spoon
Red chili powder               To taste
Salt                                       To taste
Green Chili                          50 grams
Oil                                         ¾ cup
Achar spice                         To taste
Black cumin                         To taste
Fennel (Saunf)                     To taste
Cumin (Zeera)                      1 teaspoon

Recipe:

Mix together ginger, chili powder, salt, garlic and yogurt to soak the meat in it for 2 hours. Once the whole mixture is soaked in the meat fry it in oil until you see the spices separated from it. Cook it on low flame till the meat is tender. Take green chilies, put a slit on them and fill them with achar spices mixed with salt. Once you see the water has dried from the meat put achar spice chilies on top of it along with the remaining achar spices. Close the lid of the pot and put it on low flame till you see the chilies are tender.

Serve with yogurt raita and naan for a mouthwatering food journey.


Recipe no 4:

Seekh Kabab: (Ingredients)


Beef mince             1kg
Eggs                         2
Onions                     ¼
Green chilies          6 pieces
Fresh coriander        ½ bunch 
Papaya paste          1 teaspoon
Red chili powder   2 teaspoon
Salt                          ½ teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste  2 teaspoon
Oil                              For frying
ground spices          1 teaspoon

Recipe:

Put minced beef, onions, green chilies and coriander leaves in a chopper and chop them well. Once done add ginger garlic paste, papaya paste, red chili powder, salt, ground spices, and eggs in it and mix well. Put it aside for few hours so it absorbs all the spices. Fry it in oil and serve hot to your guests. 

Recipe no 5:

Chops: (Ingredients)


Chops                            ½ kg
Yogurt                           1 cup
Oil                                  1 cup
Fresh Coriander          1 bunch
Lemon                          3 pieces
Green chilies                 4 pieces
Ginger garlic paste       1 table spoon
Red chili powder           1 table spoon
Black Pepper powder   ½ table spoon
Salt                                   To taste

Recipe:

Take a pot and put chops, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, red chili powder, and salt in it and bring it to boil without putting any water. Once the chops is dried of all the water put oil, black pepper, lemons, and green chilies and dry roast it once golden brown.

Once its done garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve with chapatti or naan straight from the stove.

All these dishes might sound difficult to cook but once you start preparing you will not only have fun during it but they will be a treat for your taste buds too.
