219 new infection with 4 new death in Bangladesh

The coronavirus death toll in Bangladesh has risen to 50 after four more deaths were registered Wednesday at 2:30pm in the last 24 hours.

About 219 people have screened positively for the virus, bringing the infection count to 1231, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said this afternoon in an online briefing.

The recovery count has reached 49, the minister said, as seven more patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
