Highest number of deaths from Covid-19 in Bangladesh

The COVID-19 cases in Bangladesh crossed 30,000 with 1693 people newly contracted the disease in the past 24 hours.
The country on Friday also recorded 24 more coronavirus related deaths, the highest single-day spike, taking the tally to 432.
In the last 24 hours, samples of 9,727 people were examined. Among them, 1694 tested positive for the Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, bringing the country's total to 30,205.
And 24 more died from the virus, the Directorate General of Health Services ADG prof Dr Nasima Sultana said in DGHS's regular bulletin on coronavirus.
The official said the number of total recovery from the deadly virus stood at 6,190, 588 newly recovered.
She also mentioned that a total of 2,23,841 samples were examined since the outbreak started in the country.
