Bangladesh reports more 33 deaths in 24 hours

On Wednesday, Bangladesh reported another 33 deaths from coronavirus infection which raised the death to 2,457. The country's mortality rate currently stands at 1.28 per cent.
The country also reported 3,533 new cases of 14,002 samples of infection testing that increased the number of total infections at 197,123.
Additional Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana revealed the information at its daily health bulletin broadcast from Mohakhali.
The Health authorities also reported recovery of 1796 patients during the period, taking the total recoveries to 105,023.
The global confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 13 million, with over 570,000 fatalities and more than 7.2 million recoveries, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.
