2 women killed in Ctg train accident

Two women were killed and six others injured after a train hit a bus at Sholo Shahar area in the port city on Monday (May 16) morning.
One of the deceased was identified as Bibi Mariyam (35) and another was unidentified.
One of the deceased was identified as Mariam, 28.
Mohiuddin Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Panchlaish Police Station, said the Hathazari-bound train hit the BRTC bus in the area around 10:30am, leaving one women dead on the spot and six others injured.
Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) Police outpost Nayek Mohammad Hamid told that the bus collided with an oil-laden train in the area, leaving the casualties.
Later the injured were rushed to the hospital and two women were declared dead there, he added.
