Govt to reward LGRD officials for providing information on militants

The government will reward the officials and employees of the Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives for providing information on militants.

"The field level officials and employees working under Rural Development and Cooperative Division would be rewarded for providing information on militants in addition to their respective duties", said State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives M Mashiur Rahman Ranga.

The LGRD State Minister said this while presiding over an Eid reunion, organized by Rural Development and Cooperative Division at the secretariat here today. 

Directives have been given for providing special messages and reinforcing the security arrangement of different bodies and directorates under the Rural Development and Cooperative division to check any possible militant attack.

Senior officials including Rural Development and Cooperative Division Secretary Dr Proshanto Kumar Roy, among others, were present.
