Bring documents relating to Bangabandhu's killing from foreign archives: CPB

Leaders of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) today urged the government to take necessary steps to make all information and documents related to the assassination of Bangabandhu public which are now being preserved in the archives of different countries including USA, Pakistan, India and Russia, besides Bangladesh.
On the eve of the National Mourning Day on August 15, CPB President Comrade Mujahidul Islam Selim and General Secretary Syed Abu Jafar Ahmed made this call in a statement while expressing deep respect to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Although the Father of the Nation was killed by local and foreign reactionary groups including imperialists ... but his immortal feat will remain ever fresh, said the CPB leaders.
The CPB leaders also has demanded execution of the fugitive killers of Bangabandhu after bringing them back to the country.
At the same time, they have urged to unearth all the local and foreign conspiracies behind the killing of Bangabandhu and bring those under the purview of trial of those who had been involved with the conspiracy.
To mark the National Mourning Day, the CPB will organize a discussion on August 13 at its office at Purana Paltan.
