Housewife crushed under truck in Laxmipur

A housewife was crushed under the wheels of a speeding truck at Char Jangalia on Laxmipur-Ramgati road in Kamalnagar upazila on Saturday night.
 
The deceased was identified as Farida Begum, 47, wife of M Hossain, a resident of Char Jangalia village.
 
Police said a speeding truck rammed Farida while she was crossing the road around 10:30pm, leaving her injured.
 
Later, she was whisked off to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
