PM gives donations to FFs, their heirs

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given financial donations to the heirs of Bir Shresthas and other gallantry award recipient freedom fighters and their heirs.

The PM handed over cheques for the donations at her office in the city on Sunday morning (April 23).

PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim said that Sheikh Hasina handed over a cheque for Tk. 3 lakh to each.

The cheque recipients are Bir Shrestha Mostafa Kamal’s mother Mst. Maleka Begum, Bir Shrestha Noor Mohammad’s mother Mst. Fazila Khatun, Bir Uttom’s Shah Alam’s wife Fatema Khatun, Bir Uttom’ Abdus Sattar, Bir Bikrom Abul Bashar’s son Mohin Uddin, Bir Bikrom Jogoth Jyuti Das’s sister Fulu Rani Roy, Bir Pratik Khalilur Rahman, Bir Pratik Abdul Alim’s wife Mst. Jarina Khatun, Bir Pratik Nazrul Islam’s wife Rawnak Jahan, Bir Pratik Shamsul Haque’s wife Anwara Begum, and Bir Pratik Mukhtar Ali.
