'Kidnapped' Sumaiya rescued

Five-year-old Sumaiya, who had been missing since 2 April, was rescued from Kadamtali area of Dhaka early Thursday.
Kamrangirchar police officer-in-charge Shahin Fakir said Sumaiya is now in police custody. She was rescued from Kadamtali area of the city around 3:00am, the OC added.
Father of the girl Zakir Hossain, who works for a steel manufacturing company, filed a kidnapping case with Kamrangichar police station on 24 April, 22 days after his daughter had gone missing.
