One-day state mourning being observed

The nation is observing one-day state mourning on Thursday with due solemnity in memory of the victims of the US-Bangla plane crash in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The national flag is being hoisted half-mast across the country.
Besides, special prayers will be held at all religious institutions and worship places, including mosques, temples, churches and pagodas across the country on Friday.
Earlier on Wednesday, the government declared a one-day state mourning for Thursday in memory of the victims of the US-Bangla plane crash in Kathmandu.
A total of 51 people from the 71 passengers and four crew members died when Flight BS211 of the US-Bangla Airlines veered off the runway while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday.
At least 26 Bangladeshi nationals were among the dead, while a number of injured survivors were undergoing treatment at hospitals in Kathmandu.
