Headmaster held for ‘molesting students’ in ctg

A headmaster of a Chattogram school was held in Dhaka today in connection to a case filed against him for allegedly molesting three female students.
Abul Hashem, 52, is the headmaster of Paschim Charpatharghata Government Primary School in Karnaphuli upazila, said police.
Hashem allegedly molested three fifth graders during a private lesson session at the school in different times, said Sayedul Mostafa, officer-in-charge (OC) of Karnaphuli Police Station.
He used to take the private classes in a room of the school after regular school hours, the OC said.
On Monday, mother of one of the victim’s filed a case with the police station in this regard after learning about the incident from her daughter and her friends, the OC said.
With the help of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Abul Hashem was arrested in capital’s Mirpur area around 3:00pm in connection with molesting three female students of class five, Jahedul Islam,assistant commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP)’s Karnaphulizone, said.
