PM to be conferred with DLitt Degree at Kazi Nazrul University at Asansol

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be conferred with the honorary DLitt Degree at a special convocation of Kazi Nazrul University at Asansol of Kolkata today (Saturday).
Sheikh Hasina will deliver a speech at the ceremony and hand over gold medals among the meritorious students.
The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and education minister will also address the function.
Iconic actress Shormila Tagore will also receive DLit degree at the convocation.
From there, Sheikh Hasina will return to Kolkata in the afternoon and will visit Netaji Shubhas Bose Museum.
The prime minister will return home on Saturday night.
Sheikh Hasina reached Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata on Friday morning. The prime minister was escorted to Santiniketan by a helicopter of Indian Air Force.
Sheikh Hasina attended the convocation of Visva-Bharati University as a special guest in the morning.
Later, Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi jointly inaugurated Bangladesh Bhaban at the university.
Mamata was present there.
The two premiers held a bilateral meeting at the Bangladesh Bhaban after its inauguration.
