Bernicat meets foreign secy

Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque held a sudden meeting with US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat in Dhaka today.

The hourlong unscheduled meeting started at 10:30am at State Guest House Padma.

Both the parties discussed about deeper relationship and partnership between the two countries, Bernicat told journalists after coming out of the meeting.
