Technology is the best way to develop country: Sheikh Hasina

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the role of technology is the best way to develop country in modern world.

Countrymen are very expert to use technology very technically, she said.

The Prime Minister said we always give priority to education of polytechnic. We will build technical school and college in every upazilas.

The premier came up with the remarks while inaugurating the three-day National Convention of Institution Of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) today (Saturday).

The Prime Minister opend the 22nd national conference at her official residence Ganabhaban.

Besides, the premier also inaugurated the sculptor of  ‘Independence and Bangabandhu’ in front of  IDEB building.

We have adopted Delta Plan-2100 considering future of the next generations, she said.

We established Bangladesh as developing country in nine and half years. We want to develop our villages and give all urban facilities to village people, she said.

We have increased budget and reduced inflation. We have been able to produce 20,000 MW electricity. Now, 90 percent people are getting electricity, the premier said.

We are buying electricity from India and will also buy from Nepal and Bhutan. Before Awami Lleague assuming power, we were in bad position. Now, we have changed the scenario of Bangladesh. I spent my every moment for the welfare of  people, not develop my fortune, she said.
