Change makers will shape the world: Speaker

Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Tuesday said the young educated generation, the real change maker, will shape the world in near future.
She came up with the hope while addressing ‘Change Makers Awards’ giving ceremony hosted by World University of Bangladesh and the Daily Sun at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.
The students of the new generation will lead Bangladesh on the new journey. So there is no alternative of study in the knowledge-based world, said the speaker.
Congratulating the Award winners, Shirin Sharmin said this is the beginning of your life, new challenges and opportunities are waiting for you.
‘You should have to prepare yourself for upcoming challenge as you are entering in highly competitive world’, Speaker said.
Shirin Sharmin asked students to take full advantage of technology as they are now living in technology based world.
Earlier, she handed over the prestigious ‘Change Makers Awards’ among 655 english medium students who excelled in the O and A level examinations in the 2017-2018 academic sessions.
The editor of the daily sun Enamul Hoque Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech.
Alvi Rahman and Nuva Manjurin shared their feelings on behalf of the award winging students at the occasion.
