People welfare is my work: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said people welfare is my work.
After taking in power in 1996, her government gave their concerned to every development works, including health sector, she said.
Her government made community clinics for people. We reduced tax on medical instruments for the sake of people interest, the premier said.
Countrymen’s life limit have now been increased, she said.
The Prime Minister said this while inaugurating Sheikh Russell Gastro-Lever Institute and Hospital at Mohakhali on Wednesday.
All modern institute technology will be kept in this gastro-lever hospital, she said.
Most of the people of our country are suffering form stomach disease. So that I wanted to build a gastro-lever hospital. I am very glad to establish this hospital, the premier said.
We will build medical university in every division if we come in power in upcoming parliamentary election. We are already building three medical universities and will establish another five universities in five divisions, the Prime Minister said.
We have ‘Bangabandhu Memorial Trust’ from where we give scholarship to students and aid to people who injured in August 21 grenade attack, she said.
We inaugurated Burn and Plustic Surgery Institute for the better treatment of burned people. People are getting internet service by the contribution of digital Bangladesh, the Prime Minister said.
We have made five medical colleges in every military hospitals and also developed Combined Military Hospital (CMH) of Dhaka. Only Dhaka Medical College will be affiliated with Dhaka University and others medical colleges will be affiliated under the divisions of the university, the premier said.
The Prime Minister said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said “You are doctors. Your mind will be broad. You will take patients as same level. There won’t be partiality.”
Bangladesh is now developing country and also marching ahead. We have returned the prestige to Bangladesh which its lost, the Premier said.
We have been able to fulfill the fundamental need of people. Bangladesh is now role model of development in the world, she said.
