Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said that the government sat for dialogues with political parties to ensure a participatory, inclusive and credible election.
She said this while addressing a programme at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in Dhaka this evening marking the Jail Killing Day.
The premier said they want a participatory poll so that the people of the country might not have to face any untoward situation due to political instability.
“We want the trend of democracy to continue that’s why we have taken part in the dialogue with an open mind. We assured them (Jaiya Oikyafront) of meeting some of their logical demands,” the prime minister also said while talking about the demands placed by Jaiya Oikyafront during the recently held dialogue.
