Nusrat murder case shifted to women repression tribunal for quick disposal

Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi murder case has been transferred from Feni court to Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal for quick disposal.
Md Jakir Hossain of Feni Senior Judicial Magistrate court fixed June 10 for the further hearing of the case.
Earlier, sixteen people who were charged with the murder were produced before the court during today’s hearing.
The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) on Wednesday charged in the court 16 people over the killing of Nusrat.
Nusrat Jahan Rafi, a student of Sonagazi Islamia Senior Fazil Madrasa, was set ablaze on April 6 for refusing to withdraw a sexual harassment case against her principal Siraj Ud Doula.
The Alim examinee succumbed to her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital five days later, triggering a public outcry.
