Prime Minister tributes Chinese revolution heroes

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, currently visiting China, paid tribute to Chinese heroes by placing a wreath at the Heroes Memorial in Tiananmen Square on Friday afternoon.
After placing the wreath at 4pm (local time), the Prime Minister stood in solemn silence for some time in honour of the heroes as bugle played the Last Post.
A smartly turned out contingent of China Armed Forces gave the state salute on the occasion.
The national anthems of the two countries were also played.
Later, the Prime Minister joined a meeting with China's National People’s Congress (NPC) Chairman Li Zhangshu at the Great Hall of the People.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is currently on a five-day official visit to China. Both countries expect to strengthen their bilateral ties during this visit.
