Speaker for strengthening bilateral cooperation with Vietnam

Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury yesterday expressed her hope that mutual cooperation on various fields will expedite the economic development and prosperity between Bangladesh and Vietnam.
"The mutual cooperation on economy, other technology, education and culture would expedite the economic development and prosperity between Bangladesh and Vietnam," said the Speaker while a six-member delegation led by visiting Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang visited her office at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here.
The Speaker said formation of friendship group between Bangladesh and Vietnam and exchanging visit and views of the parliamentary delegations would be helpful for the parliament of the two countries.
The visit of parliamentary members of the two countries will strengthen the existing friendship and also to promote the parliamentary practice and democracy, said the Speaker.
The visiting Vietnamese president commended the existing economic development of Bangladesh and gave assurance to provide all out cooperation for the development of Bangladesh.
Pham Binh Minh, Dao Viet Trung, Nguyen Dac Vinh, Nguyen Manh Hien, Tran Van Khoa, Chief Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad ASM Feroz and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, among others, attended the meeting.
