Good news for Atkinson lovers! Rowan Atkinson, popularly known as Mr Bean, is back with ‘Johnny English Strikes Again’, the third venture in the series of goofy espionage satires.
The film hit Bangladeshi theatre on Friday to entertain the audiences with fresh comedy. At the end of a hectic week, a movie can cheer one up, especially if it’s a comedy.
Star Cineplex screened ‘Johnny English Strikes Again’ in Bangladesh on Friday even before the film hit American and British theatres.
Johnny English is a British comedy film series parodying the popular thriller James Bond spy series.
Rowan Atkinson plays Johnny a MI7 spy, who goes after hi-tech criminals in the film.
There is no doubt that nothing can be funnier than Atkinson’s sardonic eye-rolling, involving the whole face into the comedy, curling lips and making the most poker face when everyone else is laughing.
After a long seven-year break, Atkinson made his comeback in ‘Johnny English Strikes
Again’ launching missiles at French cyclists, burning down a French restaurant, and stumbling around blindly assaulting innocents walking on London streets.
The first film, however, of the series released in 2003 receiving a huge response at the time.
The second sequel of the spy spoof hit the cinema in 2011.
