Rain or thundershowers likely

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, said a Met office release here today.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The highest rainfall was recorded at 49 mm at Gopalganj followed by 47 and 42 mm respectively at Netrokona and Bogra.

Country's highest temperature was recorded at 36.4 degree Celsius at Satkhira and minimum temperature on Thursday was 21.4 degree Celsius at Kumarkhali.

Today's sunset at the capital would be at 6.39pm while the sunrise in the capital tomorrow at 5.11am.
