Bangamata U-19 Women’s Gold Cup final today

Bangladesh will take on Laos in grand final of the prestigious Bangamata U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup football scheduled today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
The match kicks off at 6 pm.
President M Abdul Hamid is expected to grace the chair of the final as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
Addressing at a pre match press conference held yesterday at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation, both the team’s coaches expressed their optimism on winning the trophy of the tournament.
Vongmisay Soubouakham, the 31-year-old coach of the U-19 women’s team of Laos, said it will be a pretty close contest between Laos and Bangladesh in the final.
He also said there will be a fifty-fifty chance of the two teams in the final.
On the other hand, Bangladesh U-19 team’s head coach Golam Robanni Choton however bold enough to come forward one step ahead by saying that his team are favorite in the final.
Earlier, the girls in red and green made an auspicious start in the tournament as they blanked UAE by 2-0 goals in their group opening match and defeated Kyrgyzstan by 2-1 goals in their group second match to emerge group top.
The host got the ticket of the final beating Mongolia by 3-0 goals in the second semi-final.
On the other hand, Laos thrashed Mongolia 5-0 goals in their group opening match and drubbed Tajikistan by 6-0 goals in their second match to emerge group top.
They confirmed their final of the tournament crushing Kyrgyzstan by 7-1 goals in the first semi-final.
Meanwhile, the price of the ticket of the final have been estimated at Taka 50 for gallery and Taka 200 for VIP. The tickets will be available on the match day at the stadium counters.
The six-nation tournament has begun at BNS on April 22 with the participation of Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Tajikistan, UAE and hosts Bangladesh
