PM congratulates Donald Trump, invites him to visit Bangladesh

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has congratulated Donald J. Trump on his election as the 45th President of the United States of America in yesterday's US Presidential polls.

In a congratulatory letter sent to the President-elect of the USA today, the Prime Minister termed the victory of Donald Trump as a testimony to his extra-ordinary leadership quality to serving the American people and also the global humanity.

Sheikh Hasina said she is looking forward to working closely with Trump for advancing the bilateral and multilateral interests of the two countries and contributing to a safe and secure world where the coming generations could live and continue to prosper peacefully. 

In this connection, Bangladesh Premier expressed her confidence that under the leadership of Donald Trump, the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the USA would be further strengthened in the days to come.

Sheikh Hasina invited Donald J Trump and Melania Trump to visit Bangladesh at a mutually convenient time and see for themselves the phenomenal development that took place in Bangladesh in recent years.

Sheikh Hasina also wished good health, long life and happiness of Donald Trump and his family and continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the USA.
