JS speaker returns home from Australia

Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Chairperson Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury returned home last night (Friday) from Australia after attending the five-day CPA Mid-Year Executive Committee Meeting.
The meeting was held at Darwin, the capital of Australia's Northern Territory, from April 24 to 28, said an official release here today.
The speaker also took part in different programmes of the CPA during her stay in Australia.
Senior officials of the JS received Dr Shirin Sharmin on her arrival at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city, the release added.
