Man held for raping dumb girl in Dhaka

Police on Tuesday night arrested a man in an allegation of raping a dumb girl in Chawkbazar area in old part of Dhaka.
The arrestee is Sajib, 35, a relative of the victim.
Sub inspector of Chawkbazar police station Krittibas Dhali said police arrested Sajib following a case filed against him by victim’s father on Tuesday.
According to the case statement, the accused raped the 20-year old girl for a long time and it came into light after the girl got pregnant.
