JU VC honored as first woman VC to public university

The authority of Gulaidanga Muktijuddho Smriti College in Manikganj district today at a function honored Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Farzana Islam as the ever first woman VC to country's public university.

Chairman of the Managing Committee of the college also former JU Pro-VC Professor Dr Afser Ahmed presided over the function while college Principal Kahinur Islam delivered welcome speech at the function. 

Later, a cultural function was also held there.
