Creativity must for sustainable development: Dipu Moni

On Saturday, Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni emphasized the need for creativity in addition to technology for sustainable and meaningful development.
"The world's job market is becoming more competitive and challenging. To face the global challenge, we need to ensure quality education for all graduates," she said.
The minister addressed the opening ceremony at the Radisson Blue Dhaka Water Garden hotel of the 18th Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) as the chief guest.
Daffodil International University (DIU) organized the program for the first time in Bangladesh in collaboration with the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB).
Dipu Moni, appreciating the conference organizers, said this type of event is important for the exchange between countries of cultural and educational views. "This is an important event for students and teachers because participating universities will learn from others and recreate their own institutions with the best ideas."
World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) Chairman Baybars Altuntas of Turkey presented the keynote speech at the event while, among others, APUB Chairman Sheik Kabir Hossain, DIU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. SM Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder and DIU Chairman Dr. Md Sabur Khan spoke at the event.
