497 new infected with 07 new death in Bangladesh

Seven more people died from Bangladesh's coronavirus in the last 24 hours till Monday, bringing the country's death toll to 152.

In addition, over the period 497 more people tested positive for coronavirus, taking the number of such cases to 5,913 in the country.

Additional Director-General (Admin) of the Health Services Directorate-General (DGHS) Prof. Nasima Sultana announced the latest death and infection figures in a regular online newsletter on coronavirus situation in Dhaka Monday afternoon.

"We have carried out tests on 3,812 samples obtained from around the country over the last 24 hours and diagnosed 497 more patients with coronavirus infection.The total number of recovery has risen to 131 as nine more people have recovered," she said.
