Record infection from Covid-19 in Bangladesh

Confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have crossed the 20,000 mark in Bangladesh as the country has reported the highest single-day cases in the last 24 hours, with 1,220 more people testing positive.
The number of total confirmed cases sprung to 20,065 with the latest figure.
The nation has also seen fifteen more Covid-19 deaths during the same period, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 298.
Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana, currently serving as Director General of the Health Services Directorate (DGHS), announced the details in the regular online health update held on Friday afternoon at the Management Information System ( MIS).
41 coronavirus testing labs across the country have tested 8,582 samples in the last 24 hours, she added.
However, in the last 24-hours, 279 people have been cured of the ailment, bringing the count to 3,882.
On March 8, Bangladesh announced its first case of croronaviurs, while on March 18, it died first.
On March 11th the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a pandemic of the coronavirus crisis.
