PM shocked at Italy train crash

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her deep shock at the deadly train crash of Italy.
"I am deeply saddened to learn about the death of 23 people and injury of scores in a train crash, which unfortunately happened between the coastal towns of Bari and Barletta, Italy," Sheikh Hasina said in a condolence message sent to Italian Premier Matteo Renzi.
On behalf of the government, people and on her own behalf, the prime minister offered her sincere condolences to all the family members of the victims.
"May Almighty give them courage and fortitude to bear their loss and overcome the grief and trauma, which have suddenly befallen on them," she added.
Twenty-three people were killed and dozens hurt in a head-on collision involving two passenger trains in southern Italy on Tuesday, BBC reported.
The two trains were on a single-track line at the time of the crash, between the coastal towns of Bari and Barletta.
