PM denounces terrorist attack in France

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday strongly denounced the terrorist attack on a crowd watching Bastille Day fireworks in Nice, France that left 84 people dead and many injured.
In a message, Sheikh Hasina, now in Mongolia to attend the 11th Asia-Europe Summit (ASEM), said Bangladesh will always remain beside the people of France in their strides to combat terrorism and militancy.
The Prime Minister conveyed profound sympathy to members of the families of the victims and prayed for salvation of the departed souls of those killed in the attack.
She also wished early recovery of those injured in the dastardly attack.
On Thursday night, an attacker drove a heavy truck into a crowd of people celebrating France's National Day in Nice, killing 84 people.
