‘The 2Hourjob.com’, an online platform for women to help connect employers with the efficient workforce with flexibility and convenience, will be officially launched on Monday.
The platform is specially designed to meet the various needs of the employers on a virtual platform.
Sanjida Khandaker, who completed her graduation from Business Administration in Khulna University, and the founder of the online platform, said she has planned to do something so that she can help a busy student and a busy mother do something creative besides being a mother or a student.
The idea came so that a woman can do something creative alongside spending her time in household works and raising children. The female students can also be connected through the platform.
First, she carried out a survey on 300 women and held a workshop with 25 women. After getting positive response, she founded the online platform.
The online platform accumulates women with different professional skills and talents to meet the need of the employers with much flexibility.
To connect with the platform, one has to sign up with 2hourjob.com and post a resume there.
Later, the clients can easily pick their workers by seeing profiles and resumes.
Already, a partnership deal has been signed with Leveraging ICT Project, Bangladesh Intellectual Property Forum which will support 2HourJob.
Ogilvy & Mather Bangladesh, a New York City-based advertising, marketing and public relations agency, is its communication partner.
