Janaza of dead Bangladeshis held, bodies to be brought back today

A namaz-e-janaza of 23 Bangladeshis who died in the US-Bangla plane crash was held at Kathmundu, Nepal, before flying them back home today.

The identified bodies of 23 Bangladeshis were taken to Bangladesh mission in Kathmundu and the first namaz-e-janaza held from 9:00am to 10:00am.
The bodies will be flown back later today in two separate flights of US-Bangla Airlines and Bangladesh Air Force, said Raj Kumar Chhetri, general manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
According to him, the two aircrafts will reach TIA around 1:35pm. The two aircrafts will come back with the bodies and their relatives now in Kathmundu, Nepal.
On March 12, 51 people were killed, including 28 Bangladeshi nationals, when the US-Bangla Airlines plane crashed in Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport while landing.
