Working for people’s welfare: PM Hasina

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her government are working for welfare of people.

The Prime Minister said this while inaugurating Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute today.

The burn institute is situated in capital’s Chankharpul area.

The premier said the government are building fire service stations in every upazilas so that burned people can get quick treatment.

We will buy instruments from abroad so that burn injured people can get treatment form country. We will train nurses from country and abroad for the better treatment of burned patients, she said.

She said we have reduced poverty from 40 percent to 21 percent.

We have created opportunity for doctors and nurses and taken steps for their training from abroad. We have develoed hospitals in every districts and also are establishing burn institutes in every districts.

We have made 10 government medical colleges in 10 years. Bangladesh is now role model in the world as it has developed country within short period of time, she said.
