'Saaho' beats 'Kabir Singh','Mision Mangal' records

One of the highly anticipated films of this year, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer, 'Saaho', has surprised the critics with garnering amusing numbers on its first Sunday. The film which has received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics is indeed doing great at the ticket windows.
According to a report in Box Office India.com, the film has had the best Sunday of 2019 and has beaten noteworthy films like 'Kabir Singh','Mision Mangal' and 'Bharat' in terms of its Sunday collections which has reached to 29-30 crore nett and that too without much of a release in the South.
First Sunday collections:
Saaho: Rs. 29 to Rs. 30 crore
Kabir Singh: ₹27.91 crore
Bharat: Rs. 21.25 crore
Mission Mangal: Rs 23.50 crore
The film met with a huge setback earlier of Friday when prints of the movie were delayed, leading to cancellations of many morning shows in the northern market. However, the film's collection surprised the critics. Moreover, the growth has also come as its a holiday in parts on Monday for Ganesh Chaturthi but that is not across the all Hindi markets. So far the film has collected, around Rs.79-80 crore nett over these three days.
The film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi, Evelyn Sharma, and Vennela Kishore. Written and directed by Sujeeth, 'Saaho' hit the screens on August 30. Meanwhile, 'Saaho' hit the screens in four languages Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, and Malayalam. The film was primarily shot in Telegu with some portions in Hindi.
